I run a World War Cthulhu campaign and am interested in some character management and help with running combats. HL seems to support both in 7e so I am trying the demo.

However, it is unclear to me if HL is customizable enough to incorporate the WWC material especially the extra, setting-specific skills.

My question to existing users:

1) Do you find HL helpful for character (PCs, and NPCs) management?
2) Have you used some of the Game Master tools and how do you like them?
3) Do you have a sense on how customizable HL is for a setting like WWC?

Thanks!

1) Yes, that's what I use it for. I also use it to check that my players aren't trying to run an over-charged PC past me. I use the CofC 6th edition version, natch.

2) I haven't used them 'in anger' yet, that's one of the things I plan to do as it looks as if it'll beat the old 'pen and paper' list of who is participating in the commbat. I've played with the settings.

3) Can't help you there, I customise as little as possible as I'm no programmer.
