I've decided to switch from the WotC builder to Hero Lab. I managed to get the ddidownloader to run without a problem (at least it says it ran correctly) but now when I start 4e I get this error:

Code:
The data files could not be loaded due to the following errors:

Thing "ftHalfESou' - Bootstrap thing 'fRHaDilett' does not exist
How do I fix this? I have the Savage Worlds/4e/Authoring Kit license. What am I doing wrong here?

What OS?

If it's Win7/Vista, when you ran the installer for HL, and when you ran the ddidownloader, did you run them as administrator?

I have the same problem. I downloaded all the data from DDI with a DDI account on a Windows Vista as Admin. I completed the download but the box popped up on me too after trying to access the 4e character creator.

Sorry about this, guys - this was due to a Compendium update that I needed to handle. I've just released an updated set of data files and downloader - grab them and re-run the downloader and you should be good to go.

Sorry for the inconvenience!

Thank you for the hard work, I appreciate it. However, do you have any idea how long it takes to download all that stuff again?

Also, I'm assuming I still need to run this as administrator and that the update I got from the main program also included the ddi downloader?
