Well, i discovered today if you have tables or other info from a PDF you want in a snippet in RW, you can
  1. Export the Text / Table selected as RTF using Adobe 9 etc +
  2. Open said RTF document, block on area or single column you want and
  3. Paste into Text Snippet and it retains all formatting etc
  4. Bloody great (if you have more than one column, you may need to paste into separate following text Snippet..)

Apologies if this is patently obvious to some of you.

Looks much better than some of the text paste work arounds i have done previously!

Did I say how much I am loving this product!!

Sorry mate, just loving it so much - now I got the hang of it - can't see how i did without it - just consolidates information from so many sources in one place.

Finally just finished loading up all the various RQ6 house rules into it so never will have to try and find them again.

You should have ponied up for the Kick Starter!

Keep in mind: That first required HEARING about the Kickstarter and knowing it existed!

So try to be kind to those who are patiently awaiting release.

/me returns to under his rock to continue fixing bugs furiously and putting in the finishing touches on Realm Works.

I do sympathize with you sir!! I have missed out on to many Kickstarters that I wanted in on... way to many to count. But do not fret to much. Realm Works WILL come out soon

Until then .. stock up on plenty of tissue for that issue

Is 'kind' walking around gloating at Gen Con? Because I totally did that ^_^

I think I'll go sync my laptop to my latest desktop changes in RealmWorks BECAUSE I CAN!

Ha, the jokes on you. Because I can just keep track of all 3981 NPCs and major monsters on these index cards, as well as all of the 200+ continuous and intertwined plot points and story arcs.

I mean sure, occasionally a card or two will get out of place and the party ends up trying to save a prince before he's even born. But that just makes for more interesting storytelling, of almost Whovian levels.

And sure I cry from time to time as I try to organize 4000+ index cards after a rather long and convoluted session.

So you go ahead and enjoy your "technological advantage". I've got some index cards to sort.

(mumble-mumble lucky mumble)

I didn't know about the KS either, or I would have participated. I'm eagerly checking back a two or three times a week, hoping for good news...

Even if they only had a demo that I could play with, with limited features, I'd be happy (for now at least). I've watched all of the tutorial videos at least once or twice. Keep hoping for more...

Daleperchn,
I think you will be pleasantly surprised since you have watched the videos then. The GUI has been improved upon since those were made. I think it is a little more user friendly since they were done. So much so I almost entered the entire book of "The Worldwound Campaign" book in almost 2 days.
