I've searched and searched; and, I read this.
I'm pretty sure the answer is NO. But, I just wanted to double check. I have created 6 new user files for an upcoming campaign. Is there some kind of .zip or .rar package I can put them in, that HL will read; so, my GM can just drop that into his data/pathfinder folder? If he don't like it then he can delete the one file instead of searching for 6. I know the .pkg is HL's. I don't have a authoring kit. Thanks in advance for your response. |

You can use the HL Export tool which will create a .hl file that you can open via HL to import them.

For the instructions on how to create a package for them, in the Help menu within Hero Lab, choose "Hero Lab Manual", and then "Distributing Data Files".

Or one step further see THIS post for how to setup a feature like the community uses but with Dropbox. That would allow an easy way to share updates with your gaming group.

I'll need to look at this again. My mind must be numb. Solution: D'oh!! How many thousands of times have I looked right at HLExport.. My mind is looking for "Export".. HL was hiding it. Talk about "Hide in Plain Sight". My Perception must be at -1, LOL. Last edited by Dirtydeedz; September 5th, 2017 at 02:10 PM. Reason: Solution |
