Hello,
I need to permanently unbind a realmworks account from the Windows account to permanently switch to another account on the PC. I tried to deinstall and reboot, but the account binding was still present after the reinstall. How can switch the account without reinstalling Windows or being forced to create a new Windows account? Thanks |

Log into the new account and make sure you have Realm Works set up with your current data.
Log out and switch to the old account. Uninstall Realm Works. Delete the database backups folder in the "LWD Technology, Inc" folder in your (My) Documents folder. Delete the "Realm Works" folder in the "LWD Technology, Inc" in your Windows account's profile folder. You can get there by pasting this command into the search box in the Start Menu or in a Command Prompt window: Code:
explorer "%APPDATA%\LWD Technology, Inc" |

That folder includes your master realm file. Be sure to back it up first just in case you do not have cloud access atm.

Thanks.
I hate it when companies do not clean up AppData and similar folders upon deinstallation. |
