Request for a modified form of text summary

Saw this: http://www.yesthetruthhurts.com/2010...ast-nslow.html where a text summary list of a Space Marine army (AB40K files) was posted and would like to know if a modified or hybrid textsummary/model list could be developed.

For example, this is the text summary of one unit:

7 Space Marine Bike Squad @ 285 pts (Unit Type: Bikes; Frag Grenades; Krak Grenades; Power Armour; Space Marine Bike; Bolt Pistol x5; Meltagun x2; Attack Bike; And They Shall Know No Fear; Combat Squads; Combat Tactics)
1 Attack Bike (Unit Type: Bikes; Frag Grenades; Krak Grenades; Power Armour; Bolt Pistol; Multi-Melta; And They Shall Know No Fear; Combat Squads; Combat Tactics)
1 Sergeant (Unit Type: Bikes; Frag Grenades; Krak Grenades; Power Armour; Space Marine Bike; Bolt Pistol; And They Shall Know No Fear; Combat Squads; Combat Tactics)

While this is OK for the nominal roster verison, I would like to have something a little less verbose for the text summary, such as:

7 Space Marine Bike Squad @ 285 pts (Bolt Pistol x5; Meltagun x2)
1 Attack Bike (Bolt Pistol; Multi-Melta)
1 Sergeant (Bolt Pistol)

I think that this all could possibly be controlled by the option's Show State, something that would be the reverse of Output - but conditional so that it outputs to the nominal roster printout (and unit details) and is excluded to the text summary. Or just something like a check box that would exclude output to the text summary like how equipment? works on options for the model list output.

Or does something like this already exist and I'm not looking in the right place...

In the file menu, have you tried the "Save Model List" option? Here's an example of its output:

The problem is that the above entry under model list looks like this:

Unlimited Pts - Space Marines Roster

1 Attack Bike
1 Attack Bike - Heavy Bolter

1 Sergeant
1 Sergeant

7 Space Marine Bike Squad
7 Space Marine Bike Squad - Frag Grenades

Total Roster Cost: 255

Which is fairly close to what I want, but is not as compact or ordered as a less verbose text summary. Unless the priority needs to be played with to get the desired order, which would solve one problem, but then there's still the new line after a entry which should not be there unless of course there's a new squad description. (PS. I did forget a few options in the example, but the overall point is still valid.)

There's already a "tournament text output" option on our to-do list - basically, text output, but with only options that cost points listed. So if you're a tournament organiser, you don't care about every space marine unit having "And they shall know no fear", but you do care about that one unit that took the Tank-Hunters skill for 30 points, plus you want to know that it has one guy with a Lascannon for 10 points, but you don't care that the rest of them have Bolters.

That output wouldn't output things like Bolters / Bolt Pistols for the units because they're free, but otherwise I think it would meet your criteria. Would that work?
