I love using HeroLab, which is why I grabbed it for iOS as soon as I was aware the version existed. But I'm involved in a couple of games that are still using 3.5, and don't exactly want to have to lug the laptop to the game if I don't have to.

Is there any likelihood of porting the d20 datasets over to the iOS version?

That's a great question!

We would love to bring it to the iPad but are unable to look into it until sometime after Starfinder releases.

What is required to write a dataset for iOS? If it's something I'm capable of, I might start the bare bones of one. (I mean, it's clearly not a simple matter, or else you'd just be able to grab the d20 sets and make some tweaks.)

Unfortunately I haven't the slightest idea what is involved. I'm told it's a great deal of work.

You might seek out Colen on the forums and ask him.

Thanks!

Yes the thread is about a year old, not intending to necro it but since d20 isn't available on the iPad app yet I thought I would add to the interest pile in the same place.
