Hi Team,

Can we get a snippet style for GM snippets? It's quite common in content to have GM content that has a callout to highlight it specifically from the rest of the text. Could be the same as current callout just without a Fog of World button.

I don't understand.

You want a GM instruction with the read aloud style? Why?

I generally reveal read aloud snippets to the players after I read them. That way they have what ever information was conveyed in the read section (my players not always being good at paying attention when I provide clues or useful data and often needing another chance to get it).

Not a read-aloud. A call out. It's common in modules to have information that will never be read by the players (aka GM Snippet) that is highlighted out in a separate box. It's not read aloud information but the box brings attention to the text.

Generally, I put things like that in their own Topic.. Further Information seems especially suited for it ... contained "under" the Topic it came from.

I don't know whether styles for GM Notes or more non-revealable snippet types is the best answer, but one of the two seems useful enough.

Well, I probably won't use that, but more styles certainly won't hurt.

As a workaround, you could use the shading option from the format ribbon.

Do you mean GM Directions? You can attach them to any Text Snippet or convert any Text Snippet to only GM Directions. The options are in the Snippet's Options Menu (F9).

Well, yes, but what daplunk wants is to increase the options for the visual appearance for GM Directions.. in order to emphasize some more than others.

That's exactly how I use GM Directions in large chunks of text snippets that are generally for the GM; it's not like you're going to put an entire Article in them just because they're game mechanics. GM Directions are "asides" to the reader. ::shrug::

You could always use GM Directions + different formatting for the text, of course.

Others have suggested new Topics/Articles, but that seems unwarranted for a single paragraph. (I'd want a multiple paragraph sidebar before doing that.)

Click on the Properties icon for the snippet, select "Snippet Style" in pop-up menu, and in the submenu, select "Callout".

That doesn't work for GM snippets.
