I assume you know that the Daemon and Dragon Slayers in the Storm of Chaos list now use the updated stat lines and costs

Well I've asked 3 different hobby specialists on this one and they have all told me to use the new stat lines and costs that are in the new Dwarf army book when using and making my Slayer Lists

Unfortunately incorrect. Costs for the slayer list are still taken from SoC.

The Hobby Specialists know no more than the rest of us. Until GW make a printed ruling, the SoC costs stand.

Yep, any 'Rulez Boyz' or 'Hobby Specialists' cannot change existing rules. As the stat lines are specifically in the SoC book they remain the same. If SoC directed to refer to the Dwarf book the situation would be very different (impossible, I know, but the studio has to clarify this to change it).
