quality of options also depend on being a cloud user or not

As Viking2054 said, the ability to create a new Realm as a copy of an existing one is part of the expected features of the Content Market.
The backup process copies your entire DATABASE, all Realms at once. There is no facility for backing up and restoring only one Realm at a time. |

This past Friday, I was going to post a comment thanking LWD for the new printing feature in RW and express my tremendous gratitude. Buuuuuut ... given the reply to some of my other pranks on some other message boards and social media sites, some people didn't realize what day it was. And I figured the joke might have caused more trouble here than it was worth.
So, that being said, now that the day has passed by nearly a week, let's pretend that I did it, and that a couple of people were pleasantly fooled, but no misunderstandings caused any kind of a ruckus and that we all had a good laugh. :-) |

@EightBitz, as a aficionado of April Fool's pranks, I would have appreciated that. The only issue with such a prank is that the forum lives on and appears in search results, making it an annoyance past April 1st.
What would be funny is to post that someone found a way to extract content from RW for printing and give a link to the helpful YouTube video demonstrating the solution. Then link to a video like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N9FgVaozoO4 RW Project: Dungeons & Dragons 5th edition homebrew world Other Tools: CampaignCartographer, Cityographer, Dungeonographer, Evernote |

The printing capability is really needed IMO. RealWorks seems to be a great tool to plan, expand the world etc., but without printing its potential for PnP is very low.
I'd like to be able to print some basic info out of characters I designed, for example. And I really don't want to spend the time I put into creating the chars again writing down the stuff on paper or Copy & Paste it to a word processor and print it that way. It's really waste of my time. |

Anyone here use SnagIt? The new version has a "Panoramic" feature. You can capture any scrolling window (e.g. any topic/article within RW).
If you have OCR capability, you can take an OCR of that captured image. Kind of an awkward process to print a topic, but the process exists, nonetheless. |

um well i have ocr capabilities (abby finereader) but then i would need to feed it constantly with images, this is too awkward really. only real option to be able to export / print content that we have entered. Third party stuff can be protected whatever way they want.
And probably its faster to STRG + M all snippets and copy & paste the result Join the (unofficial) Realm-Works IRC Chat: #realm-works on the Rizon Network (https://wiki.rizon.net/index.php?title=Servers) -> Browser Client: https://kiwiirc.com/client/irc.rizon.net |
