Hey there 'Not Colin' McAlister,

Firstly, allow me to thank you profusely for generating the 40k files. MANY
peeps use them and I'm one. Another is a friend of mine and he has a
question.

The unit descriptions for IG (maybe others, I'm not quite sure) has
vanished. Is this a deliberate modification on your part, or did they just
get lost in translation?

Thanks

Scott

You can "blame" this on me. I specifically asked Colen to delete all of the
"fluff" material from the data files, and he complied. Why? Because there
were a few reports that the 40K files were becoming TOO complete. In
Colen's quest to create incredibly complete data files, the 40K files
included some information that might be construed as "over the line". Army
Builder is intended as a COMPLIMENT to all of the existing materials for
any miniatures game. As such, it should only contain the details necessary
to appropriately construct and play an army - anything more is
inappropriate, unless the game company thinks it's a good thing to do.
Since Games Workshop has not endorsed the creation of AB data files for
it's games, it is important that the data files don't go "over the line".
This change is merely a proactive step to ensure that AB remains a purely
complimentary product - exactly what it is intended to be.

Hope this makes sense,
Rob

Okey thanks. I kind of figured that was the reason. The "replace the
codex" factor was getting there.

Cheers
