Page 121 of CoC 7th Ed. Investigator Handbook has an optional rule titled "Specializations: Transferable Skill Benefit". This seems to be missing from the optional rules selections in Hero Lab. (Character -> Configure Investigator).

Am I just missing how to enable this optional rule? If not, can we get this implemented please?

Implementing this project is a complex project, and I'm sorry to say that you're the first person I remember asking for it in the years that CoC has been available (the rule existed in 6th edition, too). Also, the work-around is relatively simple - add more advancements to increase the ratings of the other skills by the correct amount. So I'm sorry to say that while this is already on the to-do list, it's not a high priority right now.

Also, there's a lot of work that will be required to look up the interconnections between languages, since those are left to the user's research in the book, but for the purpose of Hero Lab, we'd need to record the language family and related languages for every language, so that Hero Lab knows what to improve if you advance a language beyond 50%.
