Why can't I add a Staff of Journeys to my Weapons tab? It makes it difficult to unequip my standard weapon, click the Magic tab, then equip the Staff to make changes to its charges in the In-Play tab.

-or-

Allow the staff's charges to be manipulated in the In-Play tab even when not equipped (e.g. staff is only used to cast its spells or recharged "out of combat").

Submit it as a suggestion to support, I'd say.

It is not considered a weapon, that's why. You would need to modify the staff to also be a quarterstaff as well.

I looked at staves that are considered weapons and they were listed under the magic weapons tab in the editor. So you would have to build the Staff of Journeys as weapon in the editor to equip it on your character.

At least that's my reasoning.
