I am confused as to what ruleset/book the hero lab pathfinder modern for the Community Pack comes from.

Basically it's from the Modern Path - http://www.d20modernpf.com/introduction
But, it has a lot of added material, converted to work within it's system. It has a lot of the MSRD material included as well as some other OGL modern material from other 3pp. Just an FYI - I am no longer working on it, (or anything else) and turned over all the files to Community some time ago. Alright thank you. I think I'm going to use the technology guide and Santiago content for my scifi modern.
