There's been a couple attempts, this is the only thread I found where someone was actually working on it.

The definitions.def says it's BlueStryker's work, I don't know if TCArknight was working on it too or just hosting it on his github. Sorry, I just noticed this!
 A bit of both maybe? I wanted to have it available to play around with and see what could be done with it. I haven't looked at it in a while, so free to clone and mess with it yourselves. I would like copies of any improvements made though.
