In our homebrew, I secured some special training which basically meant I got to apply Expertise to one skill (in my case Arcana).
I thought to show this I would make a Permanent Adjustment:Skill Bonus +2 (Arcana) and whenever my proficiency bonus increased, I would increase the skill bonus to reflect the doubling. The skill bonus does not appear to be applied? How would you simulate this? Edit: I looked today and it is being correctly applied. I apologize.
