How do you add a Sensor Array to Vehicles & Drones?

I've seen it in armor but can't find it for vehicles & drones.

pg 445 in the core book
Quote:
Most vehicles and drones come factory-equipped with a sensor array (at a rating listed with their stats). What you can put your sensor in is limited by the Rating of the sensor (see Sensor Housings table).
So we should be able to add sensor arrays to vehicles.

On the vehicle's Gear tab, in the cargo list, add the "wall-mounted sensor housing", and add the specific sensors you want to that.

Vehicle sensors are still on my to-do list. I'm hoping that they add a rigger book soon, and that there's rules in there that are less vague than the current vehicle sensor rules, and with so many other issues to deal with, I'm holding off on vehicle sensors for a while longer, but as a workaround, you can add sensor housings in the meantime.

What I did was created a new version of the Sensor Array that allowed it to be added to vehicles. Seems to work okay.
And yes the rigger book would be nice.

Is this still the best workaround for sensors? I do not see any new options. Please advise. Thanks!
