I wasn't sure how to handle them (whether they belonged to two sets or were two sides of one set) so I left them out temporarily. Still plenty of things to do (and never enough time to do them all . |

So which cards are on the back of which cards specifically? For
inventory control purposes I need to specifically list which card is on the back of which (Card Vault can then treat them as the same card when you're managing inventory). > thats ok. one thing that i found confusing is how to tell a minion > and companion cards from there hero or villain. ie faiths card 712 > and 70 form her card 228 and 127 I'll try to figure out a better way of distinguishing between the two. |

This is the list Essence the sets are on the back of
Slayer on campus card On willow Tara Card Type - Essence Card Number - 1 Card Effect - Tara does not fatigue when attaching skills that require the Spellcraft trait. Tara may ignore Weirdness Talent Requirements on items and skills. On Anya Card Type - Essence Card Number - 2 Card Effect - Anya gains +1 to all of her talents for the remainder of the turn for every event card played during the Prologue Step. On Mr Trick Harmony Card Type - Essence Card Number - 3 Card Effect - During each Challenge-Fight/Draw stage, both participating players draw a maximum of 3 cards. The Mayor Kathy Card Type - Essence Card Number - 4 Card Effect - Ignore all Talent bonuses from items and skills at Kathy's location and adjacent locations while Kathy is not in Sunnydale Park. Initiative On faith Adam Card Type - Essence Card Number - 4 Card Effect - Whenever your opponent faces a challenge and you are chosen as the defender, you may draw 3 additional cards during the Challenge/Draw stage. On Kakistos Maggie Walsh Card Type - Essence Card Number - 3 Card Effect - During the Movement Step, any of your characters with the Initiative Trait may move to Maggie Walsh's location as if it were an adjacent location. On angel Spike Card Type- Essence Card Number - 2 Card Effect - The first skill Spike attaches each turn does not fatigue him. Spike may attach 1 additional skill each turn. On buffy Riley Card Type - Essence Card Number - 1 Card Effect - You may have Minions and Vampires in your Resource Deck with the Initiative Trait and place them into play. |

Okay, I've got those down (still need to make the changes, but I have
them in my data files). Are the Bizarro essences from The Wish two sided as well or are they separate cards? |

You should be able to use the the "identical" attribute to have the two cards be distinct from a deck construction standpoint, yet equate to the exact same card for inventory purposes. This technique is used within the Magic data files to handle the "split" cards. It sounds like it will work out appropriately for the Buffy cards you're describing. -Rob --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Rob Bowes (rob@wolflair.com) (559) 658-6995 Lone Wolf Development www.wolflair.com |
