Welcome to the Bolt Action forum.

If you are reporting a fault please include the following as a minimum:

1. Race
2. Rules selected (Rulebook etc)
3. Unit name
4. Description of what is wrong and what you think it should be

thanks

I am receiving an error when I attempt to open the files.
I am using version 3.1 so I am thinking that may have something to do with it, maybe.
Attached Files
File Type: pdf Bolt action error.pdf (155.7 KB, 4 views)

Have not seen that one or had it reported yet - can you try opening AB with another game system then go to File - Switch game system and try loading the Bolt Action files please?

The files were written in v3.4 so would be worth upgrading too?

First off I think you have done a wonderful job making this file, and as a note it also motivated me to up grade to the latest version of AB 3.4
I have some questions:
Is there a way to have the moral/range/shot show up with each unit description. The headers are there but no numbers.
how does the unit card work, and if it does how can I get it to print up cards for each unit? This would help when demoing the game for many people and is a nice addition.
Does the mobile app work yet or is it still in development, is it for phones and Ipads or still in the creation stage?
In older version of AB it would also give a print out validation does it still do this or not anymore. I saw the print out of unit type and I like the page on special rules that was very nice bar graph break down.

I think that this is working well and did not have any problems with using it today.

Thank you for you hard work.

Hi

First of all thanks for the hard work put in creating the file.

US army can take up to 3 .30cal machine guns but AB gives validation error when you add more than 1.

No probs - thanks for the feedback

I've improved the layout which will be out into AB in about half hour!!

Unit cards - once you have set the roster up go to File -> Save Custom Output and choose Unit Cards, the browser will then open with the cards showing for printing

You can get a mobile output that saves the roster in html but interactive which may be worth trying, I think the AB mobile app is some way off but you would be best to ask Lone Wolf on that one

You can include the validation in the output by selecting the option when you output the roster

cheers
