I'm having trouble figuring out why the full text of the Notes section of Contacts isn't printing on the PDF.
For example, when I include in the Notes section the following text: {b}B A R S W L I C E Ess{/b}...only the below actually prints out on the character sheet: B A R S W L I C E EssNote that it's missing the Knowledge Skills. It doesn't seem to be a character limit or a line limit as I've tested with huge blocks of text and I get a lot more than the above. Is there anyone who can tell me what's causing this and, more importantly, how to fix or work around it? |

Could you please report this as a bug, and when you get the automated reply, please reply to that with a saved character that shows this? I'd like to look at exactly how the text is formatted within Hero Lab, and to make sure there isn't anything that was lost when pasting it into this forum, like a hidden character.

Will do.
And while we're on the subject, it would be nice if there was some way to input details about one's Contacts other than just typing in raw text in a Notes field. But I recognize that as a feature request so not sure if there's some other place for that. |

FYI, I discovered a workaround for the problem.
The bug itself seems to relate to the way HL handles line feeds when creating the PDF. Lines of text that are wrapped because they don't fit neatly onto a single line are creating weirdness that seems to go away when there is other stuff below them so if you put three carriage returns (press Enter three times) at the end of the text in the Notes section, then all the lines above that print out properly on the PDF. |

Sweet. Happy to have been of service. Would be happier if they had fixed the issue sometime in the last nine months...
