I think your running into the brand new Spell Book logic that was added back a few versions ago. I honestly have never looked at it yet so I need to spend a few minutes researching before I can give an answer on this one.

After reading this it seemed that you have to create a new "spellbook" on the Equipment->Spellbook tab to associate to your new class. I did that and then on the Class->Class tab I selected the new spellbook. I recompiled everything and its working now without anything in red.
