I suspect that the failure comes from the complete and utter lack of my observation skills and the group of spells that are listed in the spell tab of the user file. I posted last night that looking at the user file as a wordpad docment revealed a whole new world of info.

the creator of the file listed all the available spells, and in 3.5 things like Tasha's probably didn't come over. I may have to get knee deep into learning how to associate spells. Unless I can just associate schools of spells.
