When I have tried to export a hero from an existing portfolio, I get the initial selection screen, but then I never get the window that allows me to determine the new file name and location.
I have tried this with multiple pathfinder portfolios. Macbook Pro (2.2 Ghz i7) 8 GB RAM Mac OS X 10.7.3 Hero Lab 3.9f |

This appears to be working fine for me. Does the problem still occur if you quit Hero Lab and restart your computer? Does it happen if you export a single hero, or more than one hero?

The problem persists through a restart and after repairing disk permissions.
It fails to show the OS file browser window irrespective of the number of characters to be exported. |

Does the problem only happen for one game system, or in multiple games (if you're licensed for more than one)?
Please load HL 3.6g and do the following: 1) Go to Tools -> Diagnostics -> Enable Debug Tracing 2) Restart Hero Lab 3) Try exporting again 4) Go to Tools -> Explore Folders -> Program Data Folder. A Finder window should open, and there should be a "HeroLab.log" file in it. 5) Email me the HeroLab.log file to me at colen@wolflair.com - it should provide debug information which will hopefully help me identify and fix the problem. Thanks. |

Definitely happens in MM3 as well as Pathfinder.
I'll create that debug trace now. |
