Apparently sometime in September is the most recent estimate.

YAY!
I have been holding off buying The Last Parsec because I wanted the Sci-Fi companion usable in Hero Lab first. |

Ok, I don't mean to be disrespectful but it's the end of the month. Any ETA/updates?

No mention of it in the October update.

And no word like was claimed would be the case of a delay in last month's update. I am genuinely baffled that it has drug on for almost 3 years now...

Well zarlor, I guess we are back to the no love for the Savage community again. There is taking a back seat to the other games, but It feels they have put us in the trunk. Mafia Style. LOL

When I was running and playing Mutants & Masterminds I would grumble about slow Hero Lab support and blame Pathfinder, but now I play Pathfinder so I blame Realm Works instead.
Currently Running: Pathfinder Second Edition Currently Playing: Pathfinder First Edition, Star Trek Adventures Former HL Games: D&D 4e & 5e, Mutants & Masterminds 2E & 3E, Savage Worlds |

I used to frequent the Mutants and Masterminds area. That was what got me into Hero Lab in the first place. Once I asked a question, only to come back a year later and post my own answer. Lone Wolf only cares about Pathfinder and Realm Works.
It is a shame, really. There is so much potential. Ah well, I guess just another reason to finish my own program. I have been very willing to help Hero Lab to be the program that we need it to be but my offers fell on deaf, or at least unwilling, ears. Hero Lab is old. It needs to improve over time. Savage Worlds needs to be able to handle options upon options. Just because It Has Not Been Done Yet In The Core Rules* does not mean that it will never ever be wanted. Settings for Savage Worlds can end up with some high variation, as can individual gaming groups. * and in some cases, even things in the Core rules still have yet to be implemented. Evil wins because good rolls poorly .... or the players are not paying enough attention to the game. |
