I logged in to talk about Hero Lab Online and realized that this forum site (unlike the other Lone Wolf sites) has no SSL/TLS cert. That means (among other things) that the user name and password submitted to the site are plain text across the Internet. This forum is very insecure as a result.

No, the site might be "unsecure", but "insecure" is an emotional state, and I doubt the forum qualifies for that.

I could have missed something, but it looks like the problem is that the Lone Wolf Development logo in the upper-left corner is always served as http. That's why you get the mixed content warning.
If you're on https://forums.wolflair.com/ then your connection is secure. It's just that one file that makes your browser complain that not everything is being served securely. There's also a couple of outgoing links that are http, but they go to the main website. They probably should be https too since the site supports it.
