How would I go about checking the choice of familiar and giving an error if it's not a valid choice? I'm working on a prestige class that combines animal companion and familiar capabilities into an animal companion at the cost of having a familiar, so the only valid choice for familiar is "none." I'd like to let the user know this. I also see that the In Play tab lists the familiar with some check boxes -- would there be a way to emulate that from the animal companion choice?
Thanks. |

I'd like to let the user know this. I'm not sure what the intended effect of this would be. How does the class have an animal companion and a familiar, but the only valid choice of the familiar is "none"? Could you explain further? > I also see that > the In Play tab lists the familiar with some check boxes -- would there > be a way to emulate that from the animal companion choice? I can't think of one off-hand. What are you looking to have appear for animal companions in the list of charges? -- Colen McAlister (colen@wolflair.com) Chief Engineer, Lone Wolf Development http://www.wolflair.com/ |

Interesting. I'll see how much work this would be to implement. -- Colen McAlister (colen@wolflair.com) Chief Engineer, Lone Wolf Development http://www.wolflair.com/ |
