Problems with Rise of the Runelords Encounters?

Medriev

Well-known member
I have just bought the Rise of the Runelords encounters and the Encounter Library repeatedly fails to load. I am getting the following error message and wondered if others were encountering something similar:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Hero Lab\HeroLab.exe 7.0b 539

major: 6, minor: 2, build: 9200, platform: 2, version: , spmaj: 0, spmin: 0, suitemask: 00000100, type: 1
ACCESS VIOLATION
Address: 0x00655e66
Type: bad read

Have not e-mailed support yet as if there is a quick fix it would be good to know that sooner rather than later as I bought the pack to use tonight.

So messages like this are talking about the Binary Executable part of Hero Lab. HL has two sides (Hero Lab) and then the Game systems that run inside of Hero Lab.

Often we can help with the "game" error messages. The Executable or Binary .exe is not something anyone on the forums can help with. As Liz says you have to email support for that area of the software. :(

Thanks both. Appreciate the quick responses and suspected that might be the answer.

Have e-mailed support now but wanted to try here first as I hoped for a quick fix so I could play with my new shiny.

As it happens yesterday's Pathfinder RPG release has fixed the problem so all sorted. :D

It's times like this when I wish our forums had a "like" button. :)
