It might be reasonable to have a web page that can report on server status. So "wolflair.com/status" gives a throttled report so we can't directly beat on the sync server while you are working on it so we can come to this message thread and repeat the obvious: Still down.

The problem with a sticky thread is manual updates. I'd have the web server invoke a special account that is ONLY accepted by the cloud from the web server address, and the ONLY thing the account is good for is testing every 5 min. or so for a "sync test" (If I were a real connection, could I sync?). If not, email and/ or page someone, and auto-flag it for the status web page which would ALSO have the link for the manual server status update, if not some means to quote directly from it.

Just ideas, though. Some way to make things happy for everyone if there is a way to do it without costing more time and resources than the manual update thread every time all the time.

I am still getting Communication Error when attempting to log in (it wasn't working yesterday either).

It is reporting "currently logged in with another session" on immediately pressing Login, but then sticking at the Communicating for a long time before ending up with Communication Error
