If I view hierarchy relationships (container/comprises) I keep getting a massive grouping of stuff which doesn't fit in a screen as it shows both 'up' and 'down' the hierarchy. What I'm usually wanting is to just view the tree in one direction. I.e given this object (say my city) show me all of it's children and their children. I don't usually want to view at once all of the City's parents (say a region) and all of its siblings (the regions other children) and in turn all their children.
I can't find a way to do it at the moment, but can we have some option to state which direction of relationship we are interested in viewing rather than always be bi-directional. |

This would be a really big step toward making relationships more readable.

This is one of the elements I'm most looking forward to for Relationships.
The other is to filter the Overlay by target: instead of opening a character and seeing who they have and Attitude or Connection towards, I'd like to see who has the Attitude or Connection towards them. This would make simple tasks such as identifying a positively-inclined person to request assistance from, or choosing a believable scapegoat when acting secretly against a target. |
