I tried to create a Staff Magus, and there's some problems with the implementation:

1) There's no way to equip a magic staff as a weapon. This is not a big deal, as I can just add a quarterstaff with the appropriate enhancement bonus to the weapons tab free of cost. This brings me to the bigger problem, however.

2) The feat Quarterstaff Master lets you choose each round whether you'll use a quarterstaff as a 1h or 2h weapon. But Hero Lab only gives the options of equipping it as a 2h weapon for one attack, or a double weapon; there's no way to equip it as a 1h weapon.

3) Also relating to Quarterstaff Master, it allows you to take Weapon Specialization in Quarterstaff, but Hero Lab does not recognize this.

Since using the quarterstaff use can change every round, look at the In-Play tab to switch to one-handed use.

Did you notice the feat in HL says the effects of WS have not been implemented yet?

Thanks, never would have looked there.

Ah, no, didn't notice that. Since this was for a Staff Magus, I didn't read the feat in Hero Lab. Thanks for pointing it out.

Am I mistaken, or would implementing these be abundantly simple and quick to fix?
