Lychguards.

AB not showing +2 to strength as well as showing a "not legal" result if using warscythes.

Which version of Army Builder are you using? I can't replicate your issue using v3.3b (the latest released version).

Wait, have you deselected the warscythes in the options list somehow?
If you just add a unit of Lychguards, they have Warscythes by default and show the S bonus/don't give any warnings.

Do you have Competition Output turned on in the roster options?

It's designed to output a compact list for the use of tournament organisers consisting solely of units by type, number of models and options taken, rather than the breakdown of individual models and such, so that the TO can quickly verify the cost of a list without having to wade through and parse things out line by line.

I've reported this as a bug here: http://www.ab40k.org/tracker.php?p=27&t=2236

Competition Output should hide standard weapons and wargear from the output, but should not be deselecting standard kit when adding the unit to the roster.

Yeah, this is both a feature of AB3 and a pain in the butt. You can't have a "live" expression on a link with "remainder". Grumble... grumble...

Competition Output in this case has to add a hidden version of the default wargear where it changes stats.
