Ok , turns out I didnīt have the latest files (I were using Beta IV) , so I downloaded the Gamma version from the files section at this website. Still this didnīt help , the apothecary still donīt have access to his wargear. Are everybody else able to give him that wargear ? __________________________________________________ ______________________ __________________________________________________ ______________________ Message: 5 Date: Wed, 15 Nov 2000 22:28:13 -0000 From: angstboy@earthlink.net Subject: ArmyBuilder freezes... Hey there, I happily used v1.4 to construct some datafiles for Stargrunt... accidentally erased them when I upgraded to v2.0, and now when I try and redo them, I keep getting the same problem, when Army Builder loads up, it just freezes (and I think rapidly eats up memory, but I can't be sure of that). I have compared the text file of my datadef to all the ones I have, and there is no apparent change. I checked to be sure that the ABdef tool was working by undef'ing a 40K file then redef'ing it to a new extension, it worked fine... Has anyone else had this problem? I haven't found any questions on the list about it. Can anyone knowledgeable tell me what is wrong... I will gladly email the text file to anyone who might be able to... this is driving me crazy. Never, has always worked like a charm for me. No lies. Your problem seems like it requires more technical knowledge than I have for certain. If it's the SAME one, you'll have to get Rob to help you out (he's already replied). Otherwise... Rob, wasn't there a problem that if you had too many visible stats that were too wide to display AB went into an infinite loop? (It happened to me with the BattleTech files :-) Could it be that? That's definitely possible. Since it has been fixed, I didn't think of it as a possibility with V2.0. However, if he hasn't updated to get the bug fix, he'd be running into it. Make sure that you have updated to V2.0c. It's a free download off the web-site. If it's this problem, an appropriate error message will be reported to you instead of the infinite loop. Thanks for remembering that one, Russell!! :-) Hope this helps, Rob --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Rob Bowes (rob@wolflair.com) (650) 726-9689 Lone Wolf Development www.wolflair.com __________________________________________________ ______________________ __________________________________________________ ______________________ Message: 12 Date: Thu, 16 Nov 2000 11:04:00 -0000 From: "Arvid " <storli@c2i.net> Subject: Re: 40K: Problem with Apothecary (Beta IV) --- In armybuilder@egroups.com, 'Not Colin' McAlister & The Skrills > >Which army's Apothecary?
