Right, seeing as I have no idea where to particularly put this, I'll just ask it in general chat.

So I recently had 3 Licenses for Hero Lab. One for me, my friend, and a lap top I take to college. During a game session of good ol' PF, I forgot to turn the laptop off and it fried itself over night. Is there any way to migrate that license to another laptop, or is it lost forever?

You can use the license number from the fried laptop on a different laptop. If you don’t have the license info, you can have all your licenses e-mailed directly to you using the option under the License menu called “Send My Licenses To Me".

I would be remiss if I didn't point out that the secondary licenses are designed for additional devices you personally own. Providing one of your secondary licenses to a friend is technically a violation of the licensing agreement. We pour all our revenues back into development, and that requires paying people's salaries. Consequently, sharing licenses lessens our ability to implement new features, add new game systems, support new platforms (like tablets), and create entirely new products to simplify the lives of gamers everywhere. If any of these benefits are of value to you, please consider the implications before sharing licenses with others.
