IIRC previous discussions the third party controls are 32 bit only so migrating to 64 bit requires those controls being updated which doesn't seem to be happening or LWD finding a replacement which is not something I'd do either as a product manager. Migrating from 32 bit .NET to 64 bit is also apparently not trivial and may be the obstacle.

Going to multi window seems to be trivial since the capability is already built in to RW. RW can send output to second window and/or monitor when it send output to player view.

You know, that is a great point. The engine must support multiple windows or that wouldn't work either.

+1! When we play and I am the GM, often I need to view many things at once and at glance clicking tabs is not that useful in such situations.

The past is a rudder to guide us, not an anchor to hold us back.

In the meantime, if you just want to read one tab while working on another you might try Jing. I learned about Jing from someone here. It's for taking screenshots but the screenshot you took stays open in its own window until you decide to copy, save or delete it. I have used it in this manner many times.
