I'd like to be able to use the program on both my cpu's (desktop and a laptop) without having to constantly switching it via the software.

Unless I'm missing something, that is what Sync'ing is for. You Sync up to the cloud on the computer with your latest work on it, then you sync down from the cloud to your other device. Unless you don't have access to the cloud for some reason.

It is not clear what Myrik_Justicar is referring to. As Viking2054 said, syncing is the means of "copying" a realm from one machine to another (although only one is allowed to be the "master" at any one time).

If Myrik_Justicar is talking about being able to be logged on to both machines at the same time, and active at the same time, that's something else.
