Not sure if these are on the list of to-do items, but I'd like to see HLO for PF2e implement some of the following:
  • Leveled character creation (track the level feats/spells/skills etc were taken at for retraining and shuffling of abilities)
  • Ability to de-level a character constructed with the previous feature and have the changes propagate "up-level" (as it is, i have to create 20+ versions of a character to see their progression)
  • Alphabetical and other sorting options for all lists (perhaps by skill for feats for example)
  • Better search functionality in lists (such as looking for all magic items that increase Intimidation or the like)
  • Signature spell designation (currently you have to open the spell to see it is a signature spell)
  • Option to turn delete confirmation off
  • More options to make the software do what i want, in terms of house-rules, like in HLC, rather than being forced to use vanilla rules
  • Drag & drop item stacking/location (it is currently ridiculously cumbersome)
  • When selling an item have some % amount buttons, like 100%, 50% pre-set (having to type the amount is cumbersome)
  • When items are nested, have them be under the top level item and, perhaps, indented rather than the clipboard icon now that gives very little visual information
  • When returning to the home page, remember the folder I am coming from and go there rather then the top level

So far you guys have a decent product, and between it and Pathbuilder 2 most of my needs are met, but Classic was still the best and the more you can make this product like that one, the better.

-Best!

I can tell you that the options of house rules are not forthcoming, and the most we can do is make custom things from the list or the permanent adjustments section of the App.

There does need to be a better list of adjustments that can be made in that section, just as it is in PF1 in HLC, and will have to be when PF1 is adapted over.

The items in containers is something that has been a problem in both iterations.

A number of these are on our radar to handle, it's just been a matter of getting to them. We've been hard at a number of big projects, but UI improvements are absolutely a near-term goal for us (with some in the extremely near future once the final pieces fall into place lol). Perhaps not all the ones you've listed, but we are on the perpetual march to refine HLO to give an even better experience.

Unfortunately with regards to house rules, that's something the online model ties our hands on. Unlike HLC for which the files were all hosted locally, HLO cannot access any personal content and apply it since everything is remote on our servers. We are trying to expand the options to create custom content within the bounds of HLO, and further expanding this is on our list of things to improve.

Also, just saying you want "house-rules" gives us nothing to go on - please, give us specifics on how your game differs from the rulebook, and maybe there are simple tools, like adjustments, that can be used to build that, and either exist already, or can be added easily.

The best example is PF1 having the World is Square add on that adjusted the feat tax issue and clearly will not be available for HLO when PF1 is adapted onto the online App platform.

The add-on thaX is talking about is here: World is Square Hero Lab implementation.

These rules give characters some combat-related Feats for free, merge together many others, and change some to work on Weapon Groups instead of a single weapon.

You would likely be able to duplicate it by using Adjustments to give free Feats and taking all of the appropriate ones. It just wouldn't look very nice on your character sheet.

Some of us are working on a Starfinder add-on to the PF2 ruleset, allowing people to play a Starfinder game using all the nice to haves of PF2. What this will boil down to is a pretty complex set of PF2 classes, ancestries, and items. It'd be nice if it were even possible to dream of implementing this into HLO someday.

For this one the most efficient and user-friendly thing I can think of would be a per-level display of selected items, very similar to the spell preparation selection.

This kind of vibe:

The same functionality would be broadly applicable to a bunch of things that allow X-per-level selections out of a combined pool.
