Our team began working on Fate Core after Gen Con. We don't have an ETA on release right now. Once we do, it will be announced in our monthly newsletter.

I'm looking forward to this! My home gaming group just switched from Pathfinder to Fate, so it'll be nice to have an "official" character builder. :-)

Keeping fingers crossed on this being soon

I'd love to use HL to do FATE NPCs and more for my Tianxia PbP.

The thing I'm looking forward to from HL is not so much the generation (which is actually pretty intuitive when you grasp the concepts) but the PDF/Print capabilities. those are great for convention and online games when you want to present a character in a pleasing, coherent way.
