Is there a way to change the name of an ability that is displayed in the specials tab and when hovering the mouse over the ability in other tabs? For example, I would like to include the DC's of both breath weapons for good dragons. I have come across other occasions where this would have been beneficial, as well.

I tried to change the actName field at different priorities during the Render phase, both before and after 30000 when a script generates the default actName field. However, this doesn't change what is displayed. It would appear that the name that is displayed is not actually the actName field.

This happens a lot, usually the name displayed on many abilities is generated from the name, and not livename, sbname, shortname or the many other name related fields...

On the specials tab though, you should check and make sure you don't have the "Don't Auto-synthesize Name?" box checked or make sure the ability doesn't have the User.NoAutoName tag.

The DC for good dragons should be the same for both breath weapons, though, so not sure if you want to see Breath Weapons (DC19, DC19, Recharge 5-6) for say the Adult Bronze dragon.

Thanks. Your input helped get me on track. I stopped selecting the type of saving throw for the 1st breath weapon. That removed the type of save from the description (DC19 Dex, Recharge 5-6). The description now includes a generic DC value that applies to both breath weapons (DC19, Recharge 5-6).
