Ok...

Ok, so while I didn't know the exclusion thing was there... I do now.

BUT, I don't like how it works. When you select it, it automatically puts
the little "no" sign in all of the options. I have a list of 30-40 options, and
I only want to exclude one of them... not deselect all the rest

Does this make sense?

You only need to click "select none" to deselect them all, then select
the one that you want. But, yes, it is annoying. Couldn't they be
unselected by default?

I think the behavior was supposed to be that it would only change the
options you had selected. I thought I brought this up before, but it
probably got lost in the mix somewhere.

When you toggle between include/exclude, CV inverts the selection set for
you. For example, select two tags in "include" mode. Then toggle to
"exclude" mode. All of the tags are inverted appropriately.

Why was this done? Well, in a variety of games, this comes in quite handy.
Let's say you're building a White/Blue deck in Magic. So you open the
Filter form, select the Color tag group, and then select White, Blue, and
None (for artifacts). Unfortunately, your filter now includes all the gold
cards that are red/blue, white/green, etc. So go back into the Filter form,
select the Color tag group, and then invert to exclusion mode. You'll now
get all cards that are truly valid in your White/Blue deck. The inversion
allows the user to quickly specify what he DOES want, invert it, and
exclude all cards that don't satisfy the chosen criteria.

And if you know upfront that you want all cards the exclude a single tag,
just click on the Select None button that has already been pointed out.

Jim, I also remember this coming up once before, and I could swear that I
wrote the same explanation back then. Make it wasn't clear last time. I'll
keep my fingers crossed it's clear this time. :-)
