I would like to be able to edit my topics so that I can add stuff to my realms but every time I try RW crashes. So what I would like to do is to go back to the v205 which was stable for me but I do not have the .exe for it.

Does anyone have that version .exe file or know how I can go back to that version?

Thanks in advance!

You can download it from LWD: Realm Works 205.

Ok how do I open a Realm that was used on v205 and "not" v206? I have a back-up for both but v205 when installed locks me out saying my current realm was opened up in v206 and can not be opened in v205 now

Likely you'd want to delete the entire contents of your master folder (or rename the folder) and start with a backup of your database from before you first ran 206 as your master.realm.

I haven't tried it, though.

I renamed both the Program folder and the Documents folder and still comes up with the same "error"

Your master folder is in your user folder, typically

C:\Users\(your account name)\AppData\Roaming\LWD Technology, Inc\Realm Works\

(or something really close; I'm on my phone. There's a reason I threw together a utility app with a button to open it for you. :)

It still may not work, though.

Ok that worked and it got it so I no longer get that "error" (BTW nice little app! )

But now I am being asked to update to v206 and it is not giving me any other options such as working offline or anything and not letting me access any other tabs in the welcome screen. Not even the tools

unplug your computer from the internet or turn off your wi-fi and it will probably stop asking you to update since it won't be able to talk to the server.

You don't happen to have a link to v 201 or 202 do you? I haven't been able to load anything successfully since around then. Normally, I would have saved those but I cleared out a bunch of downloads and those were in the batch.
