M&M 3e How to get strength-based damage?

I am trying to work on a version of Batman for my local game and trying to add his Batarangs. However, I cannot find a way to make them strength-based damage for this ranged blast power. How can I do this please?

I can see you can checkmark a box for strength-based damage when you choose a close damage power but no such option for a ranged blast power.

Well, one way to do it is to build it as a Close damage power and then to add the Ranged Extra, right?

If you look at the crimefighter portfolio they used Strength based Damage and added the Reach Extra to get Range for Boomerangs

Yep, strength-based damage + Reach extra is how you model short-ranged thrown weapons.
