Hello everyone.

I want to create a fighter (lore warden) character for a Pathfinder Society game. I know that the archetype has been first printed in the book Pathfinder Society Field Guide and then updated in Adventurer's Guide, but I don't own the latter book and the first version of that option isn't legal in PFS anymore.

But in this Paizo Blog article it is said that both books give access to the updated version of the archetype, so I should be able to create an updated lore warden just by having access to the Field Guide. Now my question is, how can I create an updated lore warden by only enabling the Pathfinder Society Field Guide and keeping the Adventurer's Guide disabled? Is it possible to do it through the Editor?

Thank you in advance for your time and help.

You can't use the editor to enable or disable packages bought in HL.
You should be able to load the HL archetype from PSFG in the editor and copy/paste into a new user file for your version, that you then modify using the rules from the Paizo website.
Note that the Paizo article refers to physical books, not Hero Lab files or packages.
You could email support with a bug report asking that the HL PSFG version be updated to the newer version if it hasn't already.

Current RPG's: Pathfinder (GM), Pathfinder (Player), Gamma World (GM, Pathfinder homebrew).
HeroLab: 3.5 & Pathfinder. HL User Files for PF: Greyhawk Setting, Gamma World (WIP).

DM and player of D&D since 1980.

Because there were significant changes between the two versions of the Lore Warden between the two books, and existing characters using the older version of the Lore Warden might have been disrupted by a forced update, we decided to leave the old version and new version as separate archetypes within HL, so that users could choose which one to use for their characters. Because they were left separate, each one is available only in the package that includes the book it originally came from.

That is understandable, but in this way players of the PFS are "forced" to buy a book on Hero Lab Classic that possibly they haven't got access to. You could have created an option to use the updated archetype even with only the Pathfinder Society Field Guide active in the options, since that content should be available to the owners of that book too.
I have sent a bug report to HLC Support, to see what they can do about this issue. In the meantime, where can I find some kind of tutorial to create this kind of option by myself?
