As a DM, I use Tactical Console to run all my fights.

One of the things I find a bit cumbersome is actually recording damage or healing for an affected creature.

When I go to the screen to enter damage or healing on a creature, the defaults come up as zero lethal and non-lethal damage. I have to enter an amount of damage and then click the appropriate damage or heal button. Having to enter the number every time can be a bit burdensome. I would like to suggest the following simple change to make things simpler to use:

Change the defaults on this screen to be "1" lethal damage and "0" non lethal.

That would then let me flip to that screen and click on the skull or red cross buttons to apply damage/healing one point at a time without ever needing to reach for the keyboard. Sure, we'd need to still enter values for non-lethal stuff but that is used much less often.

Just a simple suggestion that I think would help out a lot in running combats.

Thanks for listening!
