So, when I go to the skills tab, not all of my class skills appear. Is this normal?

Especially when I split class, I still have to drill down and find the skills not listed (class skills).

It is a good thing I have my books near me, because without them I would be missing opportunities on my build.

Can anyone shed light on this for me?

Thanks

maybe providing example on the class chosen and which skills are missing might help

Which classes are you doing and what skills seems to be missing? I know a lot of the professions, knowledge, and perform skills are not listed until you select them.

That's it... Just the knowledge, etc...

It would seem since they don't appear they take a back seat to the other skills that do appear. Knowledge skills are fairly important, so why choose to keep them
hidden?

because (imho) even if all knowledge are class skills, you do not want to make them visible (unless you actually uses them, but in this case, you can add them as you said)
maybe for class that have only a few Kn. skills, they could be included... but not all, that would be messy.

I kind of found a work around for this. It's at this thread:

http://forums.wolflair.com/showthread.php?t=11424

It's not easy, but roughly I have been "bootstrapping" the skill to the trait. It will show up in the drop box, but it's a little buggy.
It’s very frustrating and I wish it was fixed, but at the moment, that is the “easiest” way I have found to have those skills show up.

BTW - It looks likes if you "un-check" the box - "Only usable when trained?" in the skill editor, the above method works great. The only problem now is how do you do this to a skill that we do not have access to.

I don't know if this even matters but...

The Oracle in my game is a Lore Oracle...so all the Knowledge skills are class skills for whatever reason and usable untrained. So what we did, was just added "Knowledge (other)" to her list in addition to any of the ones she had taken ranks in. This way, we used the generic "other" one whenever she needed to know her skill level in the ones she did not know. Works great.

It did throw us off at first, having the KS, PS, and such not show up unless you selected them, but now that I've adjusted, I actually like it better.

IDK if you can bootstrap "Helper.SkCatKnow"
You can mess with that somehow, and maybe get something to work.
