Timeline for RQ Set Release?

I'm an avid RuneQuest fan and would definitely buy Hero Lab if and when the RQ set is released. Is there a timetable for this to happen? When is the set going to be released?

Unfortunately, I can't give you a concrete timetable at this point. The RQ system is highly complex and there is much more work involved in developing the RQ data files than we first envisioned. We've got everything mapped out and a basic framework in place at this point, but there is still a vast amount of work to be done to get everything done right. My best guess is 2Q08.

Would imagine so, for now. The status update Rob talks about (not trivial to find without some clever forum search-ery) says :

Runequest support has met with a serious setback. Sad We had a person
in place to spearhead development of the RQ data files, and a bunch
of the initial work has been done. But that person had personal
considerations arise that forced him to opt out of the effort, so no
further progress has been made on RQ in the past couple of months.
We're pursuing a new solution for RQ, but there's nothing definitive
to report at this time.
