If I have been quiet the last days it's because I am currently ill (the flu). Before getting ill I managed to finish covering the PHB for Hero Lab and a few more Magic Items from DMG, as well as adding (optional choosable) the Spellpoint rule from DMG and the (at least for skills, not yet done for Saves and attack rolls) dice-based proficiency optional rule (also optionally choosable).

Hang in there dude, get some rest. No rush, still have to wait for the OGL. Thank you again for all the hard work!

Yeah no need to burn yourself out over it. Take ya time wait for an OGL announcement. To be fair that should give you plenty of time

Hi!

Sort of fine again (next week back to work...). And one questions to you people: What do you think: Items with powers, should they give a complete power card for the power? The risk is that the sheet is "cluttered" with powers, having many pages. Or do it like in the DMG where just the name of the power is mentioned. Currently I am doing it a bit inconsistent. Especially for items using charges I often do a powercard for the power (though for items with several powers like Staff of Fire this is a bit "cluttering"), but for most of the new items I entered I only list the name of the power and only have one power card for the complete item.

I think that you should keep it brief and avoid the "clutter". I think brief items like potions should be okay for a full desc. But more complex ones will probably need to be condensed.

Okay. Yes, this is also my way of thinking.

MagicSN what about just making the Description be optional, So the user can choose just the Name or a short description or long description of the magic item or power/ability??

I agree and also for you to rest dude, it will be a while before we get to see your work (I'm hoping sooner than later).
