Hero labs crashing on IPad

Hero labs is crashingon my iPad after the latest patch added 5th ed srd

It will load a profile and when I try to change screens it crashes. This a problematic as I am hours from home trying to play and changing screens to add effects or change feats as a brawler

I have closed all apps, done a reboot of the iPad, did a soft reset of the iPad and the problem still exists. I haven't removed the app yet since I am trying to play but may have to try to reinstall

A uninstall and reinstall did not work either. I did that and re-downloaded the profiles that worked last night before this patch from Dropbox

Is there anything else running? I bet the update increased the memory footprint of Hero Lab.

I closed everything and restarted although I am using an older iPad so it might be possible

Yes I know I am on iOS 7 but my iPad 2 will stroke out if I update past that

There is a similar report in the Pathfinder forumsHERE. I don't know if that helps, but there it is.

This is most likely not true at all. In matter of fact the opposite. The new versions for iOS has a smaller footprint in memory and is doing better for older devices.

I'm having a very similar issue with an iPad 2 running iOS 7. I was really happy with the previous version (most stable I'd seen in quite a while), so I'm hoping further refinement can get it back to that point.

I updated my Ipad to 9.X and it seems to be more stable now. I don't use my ipad for much else so for me that isn't as bad as it might be for a heavy user
