Feature Request: Building Inventory (or at least become a container location)

I've just gotten done creating the Tavern + Inn my character has always dreamed of owning. HL does a pretty okay job of accommodating this, assuming you've purchased Ultimate Campaign.

However... I can't store things in my inn.

The work-around I'm currently using is to create a custom location gear item, and then put stuff in there, but that's silly.

I would be nice if:

Buildings could be assigned items, wealth, people (yes, I know you can kinda do this one), and so on. Essentially, treat the building like a minion.

OR

At the very least, have the building become available as a storage location without having to create a gear item.

One work-around I did find is to add a manager that has statistics. In this case, the manager shows up was a minion, and you can move your stuff to her. Still not a great answer, especially since I now have to "build" a manager to keep HL from complaining.
