Hi, All.
I love Hero lab, and with the upcoming con it's going to be more needed than ever.  BUT: Recently, my data files for these two do not show up to be checked off when I begin herolab. I tried downloading the files again and reinstalling them, also DLing updates to HL and restarting the comp then, too. I only get error messages when HL loads.  I love HL; as a father of 7 kids I *greatly* appreciate the hours & hours of number crunching and page turning it saves me it saves me, AND it makes my character sheets look awesome to boot!  But I'd really like help with the Data File problem.Thank you, JDM |

Can you tell us what the error is that you're getting? Even just a screenshot will do if you think it's too much to write down for us.
Lenny Zimmermann Metairie, LA, USA Data files authored (please let me know if you see any issues with any of these if you have/use them): Official (In the downloader) 50 Fathoms, Deadlands: Hell On Earth, Deadlands: Noir, East Texas University, Necessary Evil (requires Super Powers Companion), Pirates of the Spanish Main, Space 1889 (original file by Erich), Tour of Darkness, Weird War II, Weird Wars: Rome Coming Eventually Evernight (LWD has completed their review but I have some fixes to make first... although Pinnacle mentioned this might get an overhaul to SWADE so I may just wait for that first. If you just HAVE to have this now, though, just PM me) |

I think that he is saying that the Space 1889 and Weird Wars data sets do not show up on the download/update list. I just checked and I see them, so I have no idea what would cause that. Maybe the server was down or there was somewhere in the net between him and the server at the time that he checked that blocked it.
Evil wins because good rolls poorly .... or the players are not paying enough attention to the game. |
