d20pfsrd Data Sets - Powered by Hero Lab.... - Page 3

Since I updated to the Powered by Hero Lab I'm getting these errors.

Errors were encountered when loading the saved portfolio! A record of these errors can be found in the file "C:\Users\DRODER~1\AppData\Local\Temp\hero_lab_loa d_issues.log". If you notice incorrect behaviors in your portfolio, please report it to the data file authors (you can contact them from the Help menu).

As of last night I still can't duplicate the issue. I have a fix I *assume* may work and I will be putting that out later tonight when I get home from work.

As I can't duplicate it yet I am sort of shooting in the dark.

Just remember that once you get the first error on load HL goes into safe mode and it sort of pointless to load any .por files then as they have no .user files to support them.

SC, I think I may have figured out why you weren't able to duplicate the problem with the dogslicers on your computer. Are you loading the Sewer Goblin from the .stock for CoT Ch 1? I didn't even realize that existed and had been loading the Sewer Goblin from the actual Sewer Goblin.por that is in the Pathfinder portfolio file.

I have not even looked at this issue yet. I was talking about the issue above where the data set was causing an error on load.

Yes there is TWO places many of the monsters are now stored. One is as a .stock file so you can do "Portfolio->Import Stock Hero". And inside your HeroLab\Portfolios\Pathfinder\NAME OF AP as separate .por files.

I need to find some easy way to maintain both of these to be exactly the same otherwise I am going to have to remove one of them. Its way too much work to maintain a change to a character in two places.

v1.4 mostly worked for me as well.

I am still having issues with the Curse of the Crimson Throne Bestiary.

And yes I am in the Mac Beta.

As far as I can figure out this is a Mac Beta issue. There was same error reported in THIS post and it was a Mac Beta user also. Every Windows machine I have tested does not put out this error. So I am happy to change something to make it work on a Mac but I don't a clue what to even try.

I also don't own any Macs to try and duplicate the error on .

All I can say is report it to in the Mac Beta thread.

Also, Strix should be a non-standard PC race

I can't vouch for the strix as its part of the Core inner sea world guide, but I've updated the Council of Thieves dataset.
